Still fairly young though, not even half of Mourão's age, so there's hope If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Still fairly young though, not even half of Mourão's age, so there's hope Justyna Kowalczyk gave Skinder access to her coaching "know how" and training methods as assistant to Veretelny which resulted in her getting great results as a teenager. But when Veretelny was let go Kowalczyk left with him and moved to biathlon which resulted in Skinder's results plateau in the last couple of seasons. Instead of being a sprinting Top 20 regular she struggles to make the QF so it's like two steps back and I feel this talent will be wasted. While Sylwia Jaskowiec was ruined by injuries before, Skinder had better perspectives from a younger age but it's not looking good right now... Popular Post justony 444 Posted March 1, 2023 Popular Post #175 Share Posted March 1, 2023 (edited) As some of you already know, on Sunday I went to Planica. I am regular guest of Ski Flying for 25 years, so though I heard, how high they put prices and there is not a lot of home crowd, I decided to visit our treasure in heart of national park. Luckily I am quite frequent Totallympian, and with that I had an honour to meet in person our star, future Olympian. I know I have already thank you, but once more, @brunamoura, thanks for those five minutes of your time and of course, though I would come to see competitions anyway, thank you for tickets. Only thing I regret is we did not have time for a bit longer talk, because your story is fascinating, but did not wanna bother your pre race time. So, @heywoodu, take good care of her, when she comes back home, and when you are next time around (maybe both), do send me a PM, and maybe will grab a coffee. justony 444 Posted March 1, 2023 #176 Share Posted March 1, 2023 No high expectations today. Šimenc and Vili Črv are more like sprinters, possibly Miha Ličef could end up best as in Skiathlon, Jošt Mulej will compete first time. 50th place from Robert Kerštajn in 1995 is still best 10 / 15 km interval race result, so this should be main goal for our young squad. For the medals no secrets, heia Norge all the way.

justony 444 Posted March 1, 2023 #179 Share Posted March 1, 2023 So, no surprise on top. Meanwhile, Miha Šimenc surprised with 38th place, which is best ever Slovenian result in an interval start race.
