right, just like that lipstick story

Or Adrie van der Poel explaining it with "I ate my father-in-law's pigeon and those pigeons were given strychnine, so yeah" :d

You know, there's always the tiny tiny chance these things are real and then it really sucks if you're that one athlete with a highly unlikely story which is actually true but nobody believes it, but...yeah

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Don't forget Sara Errani's "my mom's cancer medicin fell in the pasta sauce and that's why I was caught", Erik Dekker's "it's because the thing around my arm was too tight and so the blood values got higher" and Alex Schwazer's "it's just that everyone is conspiring against me" :d

Technically speaking she blamed it on tortellini :p

Well, this is an odd one.

A top Scottish ultra-marathon runner has been disqualified from a race for using a car during part of the route.

Joasia Zakrzewski finished third in the 2023 GB Ultras Manchester to Liverpool 50-mile race - but is thought to have travelled by car for 2.5 miles.

The 47-year-old GP, from Dumfries, is understood to have been tracked on GPX mapping data covering a mile of the race in just one minute 40 seconds.

And the news dropped that we were "waiting for"...

The big name Hungarian swimmer under doping suspicion is... Tamás Kenderesi. This is one of the reasons why he isn't at the Hungarian National Championships.
