"Grandpa" Tury still dreaming his Olympic dream after that sorrowful miss of Tokyo quota in the very last qualifying race

Showed today he still has the right to dream and can still match up with much much much much younger opponents :p by qualifying to the quarterfinals today posting a nice 4th place

Quaterfinals finished in :UAE. Some points from the competition

Jagger Eaton :USA is destroying everything, he's the best American athlete in this Worls, which is not counting with Nyjah Huston's participate.

:BRA Kelvin Hoefler almost didn't make it to quarterfinals, and now is advancing in the second place, very good work!

@hckošice can celebrate, Tury is in for :SVK and with real chances to get final.

Many new names appeared on this tournament, Koffe Kroon :SWE, Justin Sommer :GER, Kilian Zehnder :SUI (I think he's the first swiss guy to achieve such a good result), Deivid Tuesta :PER and Agustin Aquila :ITA. But the most impressive perfomances came from :JPN with Kairi Matsumoto (15 years old) and Ginwoo Onodera (ONLY 12 YEARS OLD!). It's not common to see such young skateboarders achieving such a excepcional results like these in the Worlds, at men's events.

:ARG had the worst results, in comparison what they had achieved at Rome. Their three best skateboarders didn't advance to semifinal

Yesterday quarterfinal run, oldie but goodie :yes

And his scores at semifinal could have been even better. The judges at this event are clearly confused.

Some strange scores, as always, giving points for athletes who hit their hands on the ground...

And of course, some boos for ridiculous scores. World Skate needs to quickly create a good system to give points more precise for each trick.

And keep an eye on this japanese boy Onodera... certainly the future king of this discipline on this path.
