Day 2 events :

 

Cycling Track - Men's Individual Time Trial 1km

 

1. Sergei Kopylov URS 1.03.56 (FR1)

2. Maic Malchov GDR 1.04.17 (FR2)

In this event, times were better at Friendships but every track is different, so I don't know what times would these guys get in LA.

 

Shooting - Men's 50m Rifle Prone

Here we need a shoot-off between BUL and USA athletes. I said gold for BUL - USA was on home soil, but BUL athlete was more experienced. He already had medal in 1980 olympics. So maybe he could be better...

Gymnastics Artistic - Men's Team

That was close final to say the least. 3 teams within 1.1 pts at the end.

But I don't know whether simply comparing LA and Friendships results are reliable.

I think it's not so easy to compare results from different competiton - different set of judges etc.

Swimming seems to be easy to compare, but in the real world i think NED might have been able to swim this 0.1 sec faster if they had fought USSR in the same race.

As English Wikipedia says:

I think there's a big chance Ashford would have won against Goehr in LA in 100m race,  when they would have been running together.
