2022 Championships Results

 

Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 World Championship 2022

 

Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 Division I Group A World Championship 2022

 

Men's Ice Hockey IIHF Under 20 Division I Group B World Championship 2022

 

Tournament Format

 

 

Due extended sanctions of :RUS and :BLR IIHF decided that

No team from last years Top division Tournament has been relegated to this year tournament, while 2 nations from lower division I Group B advanced to this Tournament,

Teams ranked 3rd-to-6th in last year championship will thus stay in this category for this year as well

 

Classical Round-Robin Tournament, Each team will play once against every opponent.

The 1st Ranked Team will qualify to the next year Men´s Under 20 World Championship Top Division,

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Ranked Nations will stay in this category also for the next edition,

The 6th ranked nation will be relegated to the next year Men´s Under 20 Division I Group B World Championship.
