All nations now have one athlete remaining. and wins if they finish first though they have chances to win if they finish second or third. For or to win, they must finish first and must finish third or worse. Likewise for to win, they must finish first and must finish fourth or worse and must finish third or worse. winning greatly helps and to win the Olympic quota. Curiosity, Japan was the only country that had to change their surfers due to results in last qualifier stage to Tokyo. I believe that Shun Murakami should be very happy with this extra quota.
