Unsurprisingly, the first day of trap qualification at the Worlds was not good for us. Zevlever went 40/50 in the men's event while Boddez went 34/50 in the women's event.

The best scenario for us would be for a Pan American shooter to qualify here which would make things easier during the continental qualifiers.

Canada's team for the CAT Championships:

No realistic expectation of any quotas.

Greg Sych, Lynda Kiejko, Tugrul Ozer, Madelene Scola, Jason Caswell and Madeleine Boyd all have outside shots of qualifying. So fingers crossed.

Unfortunately no Rajpreet Singh.

Looks like Tugrul Ozer won compete in Lima.. there goes the best shot at a pistol quota imo

Won't* You mean? That sucks though, do you know if he ruled out competing at the 2024 CAT Championships?

16th for Lindsay Boddez in women's trap at the ISSF Shooting World Championships

With a total 3 spots up for grabs at the Pan Am Games and 2024 Championship of the Americas fingers crossed she can get Canada an Olympic berth.

Maddy Boyd won the Malaga Grand Prix women's skeet. She had a qualification score of 112.

Was the entry list particularly strong? Did it have any notable names?
