This is going to be interesting! Apparently I am much more invested in curling than ever before. That makes two very interesting teams to watch the next 4 years. We can just hope our teams return to prominence at the Olympics in Italy. Team Einarson looked pretty good at the Worlds, too.

intoronto 4,072 Posted May 19, 2022 Author #13 Share Posted May 19, 2022 The women are at serious danger of being relegated to the B division...unbelievable Curling Canada needs to fire everyone in a leadership position.

Josh 4,918 Posted March 24, 2023 #15 Share Posted March 24, 2023 (edited) Despite them clearly not playing at their best level, Team Einarson (7-5) is through to the playoffs at the 2023 Women’s Curling World Championships. With one draw still left to go, Norway (7-4) and Sweden (7-4) would have to lose their matches (Against Germany and Denmark respectively) for Canada to secure second and a bye straight to the semi-finals. (Canada would be in a five way tie for fifth but they would have the best (3-1) H2H record against Sweden, Italy, Norway, Japan (Only loss) so therefore they would secure second). Should only one of the above win, Canada would secure third, otherwise they’ll finish in fourth. Edited March 25, 2023 by Josh
