In another hammer blow to Russian morale, WWE pro Wrestling is forbidding its shows to be transmitted on PPV to the Russian market.  So, it's going to be like living in Stalin's time, when the Red Army Choir was the only form of entertainment allowed.

these kinds of ban are one of reasons of the invasion , to not see your nationals flag in international events is humiliating ... so any additional sanction will just increase the tensions ....bad news for peaceful people

These are absolutely correct sanctions, most Ukrainian athletes now do not have access to perform at competitions. And the Russians have.

Right... The entire continent has to fall under severe recession. That would help everyone.

Answer: It will not help anyone. Not even Ukraine. EU would suddenly have massive troubles of their own, meaning Ukraine would get even less help, while Russia and Putin specifically do not care. They are in it for passion and prestige, not money.

It's the first rule of the first aid help. You do not rush to help someone when such action can realistically cause you harm. Then you just end uo having more than one person in distress

Firstly WWE is dog shit, AEW is the real deal! ;) Second, I'm sure they will be very concerned with the hundred streams available for the PPV on the internet. This is the same as Hollywood stopping releases, when in reality Russian cinemas could just download the movie and play it it regardless, if they'd like. What would they do, sanction them more. I haven't looked, but there are probably releases of The Batman uploaded in the trackers already.
