rafalgorka 1,362 Posted January 25, 2022 Author #2 Share Posted January 25, 2022 Btw, in 2018 it was JPN 13 vs KOR 17, but KOR was a host, obviously.
hckošice 13,133 Posted January 25, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2022 apart Lee Sang-Ho in Mens snowboarding PGS and probably a couple of obligatory Short Track medals (however this time I slightly expect more from the host Chinese athletes) can hardly aspire for another medal(s), maybe Speed Skating, but I do not know how realistic it can be has some chances across many sports from Kobayashi/Takanashi Ski Jumping to Watabe Nordic Combined distant chance, passing by their biggest chances in Snowboarding/Freestyle Skiing + Speed Skating surely is another sport with medal options I do believe, correct me if I am wrong So without doubts. OlympicsFan 776 Posted January 30, 2022 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2022 Japan Seems like a no-brainer choice. I could see Japan Winning more Golds than South Korea winning medals in total. Some „interesting“ thoughts i had recently: 1) It is not impossible for one out of Slovenia/Slovakia/New Zealand/Estonia/Hungary/Australia/GB to win More golds than one out of South Korea/Italy/Finland. 2) There is a good chance that at least 2 out of Sweden/Austria/China/Switzerland/France to win more golds than Germany. Doesnt Sound like a Crazy prediction, But the Last time any of those Nations won More Golds than Germany was back in 1968 (when Austria, France and Sweden all did it). Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
