I double checked the bracket. It's almost guaranteed they will be the highest FIFA ranking team so they will be seeded and play only one match to qualify. Monzanator 3,593 Posted October 22, 2022 #24 Share Posted October 22, 2022 Playoff groups: Group A: Portugal / Cameroon / Thailand Group B: Chile / Senegal / Haiti Group C: Panama / Paraguay/ Chinese Taipei / Papua New Guinea Anyway, two hosts got very favorable groups but New Zealand can crash out versus the two UEFA teams for sure, Sweden & Germany got the easiest groups among the top teams. Given the underwhelming Netherlands performance lately, Portugal is not without a chance to cause an upset if they win their playoff match.
