46 bib in tomorrow's women's sprint is a 36 y.o. from Taipei.

Can't really remember the last time we've had representation in biathlon from there.

She was supposed to be coached by @brunamoura actually! They met last year in São Carlos in Brazil, where this Christine went to compete and Bruna helped her out with some basic stuff and such, and Bruna and two others took her for some fun stuff in the city.

Very friendly woman, who has also helped us/Bruna quite a lot in the last weeks of Bruna's qualifying for the Olympics. The plan was to coach her in Lenzerheide and Ridnaun, help her out with things around the track, show her the ropes how things work during an IBU Cup (simple things like wax cabin protocols, where to eat and so on), probably even wax the skis, all those things. But yeah, then there was the accident and that plan fell through. Bruna had someone in mind to replace her in helping Christine out, but that someone tested positive yesterday and isn't going to Lenzerheide sadly.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Dale wins!  He won the IBU Cup Sprint today in Lenzerheide today.  Stroemsheim took 2nd.  With Bogetveit in 4th, he was 3 seconds out of 3rd.  If there was a pursuit scheduled, which there was not, all US men would have made it.  I can not remember the last time on the IBU Cup that this happened.

Scott Lacy had a PB 27th place.

There were athletes from Serbia, Spain, Mexico, Greece, Bosnia and 3 from Denmark.  The Rosbo brothers as well as Jens Hulgaard.

Mexican Biathlete had his best shooting day ever with only 5 penalties and placed 78th.  This was his best placing ever.  Granted there were only 78 in the race, and he finished 19:37 behind Dale.  But it was his best race ever.

Congrats to Carrara, Erdal, and Colombo for their top finishes in the Women's Sprint.

If Tara Geraghty-Moats can ever hit the target she could be really good.

Good to see Taiwan.

Super Sprints and Mass Start 60's to go.

France IBU Cup globes tally is suffering a Zimbabwean inflation  +400%

From 1 (Chloé Chevalier Pursuit 17/18) to probably 5.

Nations Cup is looking clear, Colombo has won the sprint, Jeanmonnot has already secured the super-sprint and it seems she's made what needed to be done today to conquer the Big one.

It shows the density of this B team.
