I thought  might have rejected their quotas (thus helping explain how  and  got reallocated one each), but the Swedish NOC confirmed they accepted the Kohalas’ quotas today based on the future prospect criteria.

btw its amazing to realize that only 4!! countries have won golds in this sport at the Olympics (all versions of Germany = 1). Just wow.

Even better stat: only one athlete that doesn't speak German as their first language has ever won luge gold at the Olympics (Vera Zozulya).
