I’m sad :ESP is currently not in. Nil Llop is one of the most talented youngsters out there and skated sub-35 on the 500m as a junior which is impressive.

These World Cups have been so competitive though with 45 skaters having a season best time under 35.00. He’s currently first reserve, so I’m hoping he will make it by skating another PB in Calgary.

I actually believe Italy could get creative here and select Noemi Bonazza for the mass start. Since Italy is on the reserve list they can claim an additional entry at the games using an athlete that is already qualified for another event (Lollobrigida).

maybe, but I'm not sure they want...:mumble:

Spoke with the ISU. The quota simulation is how the current standings are without looking at the rules. So basically what @NearPuphad calculated before this quota file was discovered is the correct way of calculating.

Baffling they release the ranking in that fashion then…

I am now looking forward to the standings with SLC results taken into account.

The current detailed standings are on Wikipedia and should be accurate.

The time rankings are actually really easy to compute, my only real worry in terms of accuracy is miss-understanding some part of the qualification document.
