won the Asian derby for the gold medal in men's futsal. I believe this is their first gold medal (or possibly a medal of any color) at the Winter Deaflympics.

Some interesting extracurricular drama in the v. women's futsal match. There was seemingly an incident between supporters in stands, but it's hard to figure out what happened since the broadcast has no commentary or raw audio. The Brazilian supporters seemed to complain about someone making a racist gesture or something similar based the their fury (and the gesture they kept doing). Anyway, that stopped the match dead for a minutes while it was sorted out.
eventually won a very contested match, even after lsoing a player to a red card (second yellow given after a very poor sideline challenge) with just under nine minutes to go in the second half. They even increased their lead while playing down a player.
I only watched the broadcast towards the end, but I might have to check out the rest of the match at some point.

Unless some streaming becomes available tomorrow, it looks like this will be the second time in a row where there's more reliable coverage of the Pacific Games than the African Games
