I must say that I’m really enjoying these games so far.

Also, I think this :CAN v. :USA game might be important as far as advancement to the gold medal match is concerned.

Karate really should have been a 16 person tournament. I know the IOC wants to keep quotas tight, but it just doesn't feel like the tournament will do the sport justice.

This will actually still be one of the larger field sizes Karate has had at any multi-sports games. Generally, Karate only gets 8 athletes per event. This is true for the World Games, Pan Am Games, European Games, and Central American and Caribbean Games. The only multi-sports games that come to mind with more athletes than that are those that still have unrestricted entry limits (Asian Games, African Games, and maybe Mediterranean Games).

Amateuristic crash by Wilson causes a caution in the middle of the stops. Dixon is out of fuel and needs to go in for a splash and dash (and later a full stop), but the car stalled and refuses to move..

Rossi runs into similar issues as well.

Nice explanatory video for those less “in the know” about F1 (or for causal fans) about the sprint qualification.

In case anyone is confused by the situation, Draughts is a WADA signatory (I believe), and that’s why the Russian flag had to be removed and name tag changed.

Michael McDowell wins the Daytona 500. Race got underway after a lengthy delay. Multiple crashes, including one that took out most of the leaders on the final lap. 11 cars finish the race on the lead lap. Only 20 or so cars even finish the race at all.
