Sound Like Christa Deguchi continue in 57kg for the season

Rip Christa ... If Klimkait stops with many false attacks, she will have the advantage over Deguchi ..
BTW, i don't want to see Christa/Kelly in Paris 2024 ...

I look not good for Klimkait, she is probably ejected national team for fail a anti doping test!!

This is a fake news but there is something strange with Klimkait lately, she is not at INS-Quebec/NTC (it is mandatory for all card members of Judo Canada) and Jessica would not participate in the first Ontario event of the Judo Canada tour only CBP is participate, that's the thing that is not normal.

On other topic, Judo Canada just update Staff Coaching on Judocanada.org, and Jean Pierre Cantin (U21/Junior Coach) is not longer listed ...

Judo Canada reactivates the Judo Canada Membership validation tool. I doubt this is reliable information if a Judoka still competes in IJF WT. Example judoka like Kelita says, membership is active for the 2022 season, she retired this year.

Judoka like Antoine Bouchard, CBP and Kelly Deguchi find not membership...

Link for this tool:  Judo Canada member identification tool – Judo Canada

You need only First / Last Name, and Date of birth for lookup.

I did some searches with this tool. I guess that it's a coach's membership, not an athlete membership.

And it would explain why there are Antoine Valois-Fortier & Jessica Klimkait want to become national team coaches after judo career, same for Kelita Zupancic.

But Christa Deguchi is listed in this database.

Non

Lol, belle argumentation ...

As usual for gymnastics? The A team was sent in 2014 and 2018

You are right, it is only in 2010 that we had sent the B team ..., And for 2022, it is the A team that will be sent

I have news about the Commonwealth Games,

Judo Canada is 100% confirmed, it will be a team formed by Judoka who will not be selected for the World Championships, the World Championships are held at the same time as the CG (Great ...)

Athletics Canada, it's the same story, the world championships and the CG are too close.

Swimming Canada, will probably send an mix of A and B team.

Gymnastics Canada, as usual the B team at CG, and the A team at the World Championships

Isabelle Harris in the 63kg will be one to watch in the coming years, she has a lot potential.

Christa Deguchi gives me the impression that she is stopping competing for Canada. She is the only grade A of Judo Canada Team will not compete at the GrandSlam in Paris, otherwise Canadian Olympic team for Tokyo 2020

You forget Kyle Reyes, he also in Canada Team A, he not participate Paris GS or Open Melega

Would make no sense to only send one man and one woman in aerials since competing in the mixed aerials team event entitles you to a max of 32 athletes.

But Canada have not 3th skier in aerial

2 Judoka change weight division :

Kelly Deguchi drop from 57kg to 52kg (Good choice, because Klimkait and Crista Deguchi is already in 57kg)
Arthur Margelidon up from -73kg to -80kg (the best canadian in -80kg is Atoine V-F)

PARIS GRAND SLAM 2021

It's strange, Christa Deguchi not compete Paris Grand Slam, a first sign that she will retire ? She is currently outside the top 10 in WRL, very not good seed for start 2024 Olympics Qualification phase start next years
