Yesterday was held the eventing "test-event" in Versailles. The main goal was to test the quality of the ground and the stability of the bridge on the canal. Only 4 (unknown?) riders took part.

According to FEI rule book, nation with higher number of participations ranks higher, if it's still a tie, total of penalties across all legs. Spain and Italy both competed in all events so it will go to the later in case of a tie.

Top 25 qualifies for the final (and  only top 50 advances to tomorrow). no clearing of the scores, all 4 days are added.

All teams in top 10 are within 4pts of the top 5 so qualification is still quite open.

If France is in the top 5, does n6 qualify ? Or will the quota be distributed later ?

Riders eliminated today can go forward in the competition, with highest score of the riders that have completed the course + 20 points of penalty.

The scores are not cleared before the final so it would not make much sense for him to carry on, given the good scores of the rest of the team

No selection for teams today, they all do tomorrow's round. The two scores are added and the top 10 goes to the team final on day 3.

Good thing with qualifying only one horse for the individual final is that we will have 3 fresh horses for the team competition
