LDOG 2,181 Posted March 4, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 4, 2018 One of our Buenos Aires 2018 hopefuls made the final in men air rifle However it seems, according to wikipedia, that we didn't pick the host quota for boys air rifle in YOG, so he will have to earn his quota in american qualifier hoping the Wikipedia info is not true... mrv86 2,852 Posted March 5, 2018 #13 Share Posted March 5, 2018 Indeed India's a having a good record in the first 2 days of competition in Guadalajara Hope the Indian community in the city heard the news and celebrated this. Meanwhile Vazquez continues to fall victim to her nerves, she could have easily won gold if not for the last shoot.

After the second last shot I was furious that Bhaker had missed a golden opportunity but luckoly for her she got another chance mrv86

OlympicsFan 776 Posted March 8, 2018 #16 Share Posted March 8, 2018 Currently the women's 3 positions final is taking place, you can watch it here: http://www.issf-sports.org/pages/livestream.ashx Later on there will also be men's rapid fire final. Do we already know how the shooting qualification will work for Tokyo? Will it be the same as for Rio and when will the first quote places be distributed? Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Will it be the same as for Rio and when will the first quote places be distributed? basically it will work like in 2016... in the qualifications thread, events and continental spots available for Europe have been already posted yesterday (or a couple of days ago)... finally, as @Benolympique wrote, the first world quota will be awarded at this year's multi-discipline shooting world champs in South Korea (then it will be the turn of the 2019 world cup stages -and clay target shooting world champs- and eventually the continental events early in 2020)...
