Blum would be another random gold medal winner, but with 2 more rounds to go, everything is still completely open. Germany deserves to finally win a(n) (individual) gold in show jumping again. Bronze is good for this german team, but i hope that one day Germany will be rewarded for their consistency. USA doesn't have better individual athletes, but they are always better in the team. Maybe in 2020 it's time, especially if Ahlmann and Deußer get back to their best shape, Klaphake and especially Tebbel did nothing here to justify being in the team.
