Dragon 1,699 Posted March 1, 2018 #113 Share Posted March 1, 2018 So far 8 British riders have won medals, 4 of them are 21 years old or younger. Scary.
Werloc 3,127 Posted March 1, 2018 #114 Share Posted March 1, 2018 (edited) Well, Simona really didn't do herself a favour with that 8th qualification time and now she's left sharing 5-8th position. Well, I know I shouldn't count her out, but I believe that Sprint was a much better chance for her as her Keirin results have not been that convincing as of late. Scary indeed ... 5+4=8? On a more serious note: In mens team sprint New Zealand was way off and GB was lightyears away from a dutch team that probably wont be a serious medal contender by 2020 In mens team pursuit Australia didnt show up, but the british win was still impressive, although them only being ahead of a german team without Weinstein doesnt scream "out of this world". It is gonna be interesting to see how the competition in those events develops. Italy has been progressing each year, lets see whether they will be able to challenge GB and New Zealand in 2020. OlympicsFan 782 Posted March 1, 2018 #119 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Very sad that Vogel and Grabosch will face in the next round i think both could have won against the other 2 semifinalists.
