The problem (at least with the volleyball uniforms) is that they look like training clothes rather than actual match uniforms.

Especially the blue ones look like what they'll be wearing right after they get up and are making ready for breakfast :p

Although personally I think actually wanting to die because of that is a bit harsh :d

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

The uniforms make me upset :p

But being the volleyball a sport that will give evidence to Brazil in the Olympics, I can not imagine these clothes in court and in history. But I still hope that in broadcasting the situation improves.

Its not a surprise that Russia wont be banned. I think they wouldve been allowed to play even if all of their players wouldve been caught doping. The explanation i read sounded very weird nevertheless, its obvious that Markin had a pretty big impact in at least one match. I think no one here thinks that he decided to use Meldonium on his own, its obvious that this was more of a "team decision", so its pretty disappointing that a whole team can get away with something like that.

In the end we have to ask: When exactly did he stop to take Meldonium? In my opinion you cant just say "He didnt take it in 2016, so he didnt dope".

I think the athletes knew a couple of months before the end of 2015 that Meldonium would be illegal in 2016, so they shouldve stopped to take it right away and not wait until the end of 2015. By taking it until the end of 2015, they "planned" to also profit from it in 2016, so you cant say that it didnt improve their performances in 2016. In my opinion all these athletes shouldnt have been allowed to compete in 2016 until all Meldonium left their body.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Argentina squad for World League (and sort of long squad for olympics):

Setters: Luciano de Cecco, Nicolás Uriarte, Demian Gonzalez

Opposites: Bruno Lima, Javier Vega, Cristian Poglajen

OH: Facundo Conte, Rodrigo Quiroga, Ezequiel Palacios, Lisandro Zanotti, Nicolás Bruno, Jan Martínez, Nicolás Lazo

Middle Blockers: Sebastián Solé, Martin Ramos, Pablo Crer, Facundo Imhoff, Joaquin Gallego

Liberos: Alexis Gonzalez, Facundo Santucci, Sebastian Closter

SO happy to see many players from junior/youth teams and not the usual weak old people :old:
