Surfing Federation of India announces Team India for Fiji ISA World SUP, Paddleboard Championship

 

Sekar Patchai (26) from Covelong Surf School, Chennai and Tanvi Jagadish (16) from Mantra Surf Club, Mangalore will be representing Team India in their respective categories. Both the athletes will be taking part in 2 disciplines of Stand Up Paddling, i.e SUP Racing Technical, SUP Racing Distance in the toughest conditions which Fiji is known for.

India become the Champions for the 1st time...

Our women's team has improved a lot in the last 2 years. Going into 2014 Asian Games, we were 4th best team in Asia and now we have won the Asian Champions Trophy. Hopefully, we will be able to build on this spectacular performance and continue to rise.
