The US has lost it’s top three seeds, Stephens, Vandeweghe and Venus Williams, within four hours of the tournament starting. This is going to be a very different top 4 than at the US Open...

More or less expected results. Especially in the women's draw. To be honest, I was wondering how much Kostyuk had left in tank, but she delivered! Bellis was kind of disappointment but again, Kiki revenged unexpected loss at the French Open :d 

 

Sock losing was surprising (and Vandeweghe among women's seeds). Anderson too., But we all know that current ranks in both ATP/WTA do not represent real measure of talent and skill.
