In short: "Russia has history, so we have hard time to trust them. Myself, I trust them, it's a new generation, we want to beleive they are clean. Yet, we have to wait, as doping stories allways come out afterward."

Well now I'm curious for someone who speaks Swedish ( @Agger ) to help out with what he actually said, meaning the Expressen interview (which I believe is the original one?) :p

https://www.expressen.se/sport/os-2018/dopingattacken-infor-medaljjakten/

There it also sounds as though he says something like we should wait four years to see if there are stories about Spitsov, but that's just based on Google Translate. I got it from Ski-Nordique, but I guess there was an error in translating from French there.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Yeah. He says that his results aren't that surprising as he has been strong the last weeks and that it's okay that he's there. Then he adds that we'll see in 4 years if there'll be any stories.

Thanks. Indeed, not as 'sore loser-like' as I initially thought, apologies to Manificat (in case he'd ever visit Totallympics :p ). I still wonder if that last part was necessary, but alright.

Apparently the first test was negative. She failed the 2nd test which was taken in a 5 days so she took that prohibited substance right at the Olympics

Nose drops, I read on Championat (with Google Translate)?

I wonder if it was some medicine and she simply didn't pay attention, a mistake that's very easily made.

Something from a nasal spray it seems. Possibly the same substance the Russian boxer got disqualified for in Rio.

If true this is a very minor doping offence  - but her or the team medical staff must be the most stupid people in the world.

No - the test was for trimetazidine.
