One of those athletes of whom I thought they had already retired :red:

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

:BRA Joanna Maranhão (Swimming) announced her retirement today. Probably our best female pool swimmer, she finished 5th in 400m individual medley in Athens 2004, the best placement obtained by a Brazilian woman swimmer at all times. Having won multiple Pan and South American Games medals (+ participation in 4 Olympic Games), she is also known for her social work, having inspired a law (against child sexual assault) with her name in Brazil.
