The women's compete in their qualifications events but now all events seems cancelled Severe weather, in this case a rather strong storm. Sadly it was impossible to continue the events today, so it has all been cancelled and it's now a matter of waiting what happens with the women's Q result. hckošice 13,217 Posted January 3, 2018 Author #25 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Tour de Ski - Stage 4 cancelled due to severe weather Today's 4th stage of the Veissmann FIS Tour de Ski performance by Le Gruyère has been cancelled due to severe weather. Heavy rain and strong winds made the competition course not safe for the athletes. The competition has halted after the ladies' prologue before the men began. The ladies' sprint qualification times will not count towards the Tour de Ski but will count for FIS points. Discussions continue between the FIS Jury and the local Organizing Committee in Oberstdorf, regarding damage to the courses to be used from tomorrow's mass start competitions. I've been wondering that since the beginning (I know the races count for the World Cup as well, but I'd say it might be easier/better readable to keep it simple there and focus the Tour de Ski things in the Tour de Ski thread ) I started thinking it was a rule, so joined for a moment in this game of posting it in two threads Edited January 4, 2018 by heywoodu If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
