Shiffrin 33 Posted February 18, 2018 #901 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I went to bed after the first run and although I managed to wake up, I gave myself 5 more minutes in bed and fell asleep After rewatching the event, no surprise on the podium, would have loved to see Kranjec on the podium (and Hirscher off it), but still what a great result for him. Hirscher winning was never in doubt and if Kristoffersen doesn’t magically bring back his early-2016 for slalom form, no one’s going to be close to him again. dcro 10,179 Posted February 18, 2018 #903 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I wonder what lame excuse will Zubčić have this time. These Games are beginning to be quite horrible for us, with multiple injuries and underpar results. #banbestmen

Gigs 68 Posted February 19, 2018 #908 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Unfortunately the weather forecast for this week is bad again. The fis requested to change the date for the women's downhill from Wednesday to Tuesday but the ioc let the schedule unchanged. Now let's just hope the chaos of the first week won't repeat. heywoodu 13,540 Posted February 19, 2018 #909 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Mathieu Faivre has been sent home by the French, after some 'egoistic' remarks. According to Dutch media he said stuff like "7th feels like a blow to the face, I'm here for myself" and "if only you knew how I think about the group..". Now, that's Dutch media and obviously he's French, so @Bohemia, surely in French media there's some more about what he said instead of only the things Dutch media mention? Because sending someone home for that...dear lord.
