Yay, kriechmayr ends his season with two wins. Such a likeable guy who finally managed to convert his great split times into wins. Let's not forget he absolutely could have won bormio and Kitzbühel but had bad last sections + his downhill in the wengen combined was phenomenal but unfortunately one day too early. He is immensely talanted, has a great technique and guts.

Two more things:

1. hirscher should finally focus more on super-g's. Ofc he'd be less successful that way but he has already won everything you can win as a slalom/gs specialist and should set himself new goals and I mean he just got a 10th place in a super-g without training that discipline for the whole year. He has so much potential in the speed discipline.

2. then again hirscher should probably rather retire so he isn't one of the many skiers who'll get completely humiliated by odermatt in the coming seasons. Holy crap the guy is talanted. Let's just hope the injury curse for talanted suisse skiers doesn't strike again

Does Odermatt ski slalom as well?

No. I mean, surely he's capable of doing so, but it's not really in his repertoire (yet :d ) and he didn't do it at the junior worlds.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Absolute disaster for Petra

Vlhova just can't perform well when it's the D-day. She usually wins when nobody expects her to do so but can't get it done in major events, when she is seen as one of the favorites or when she has to get a good result like today.

Women's giant slalom final has been cancelled. The only right decision, seeing as the course workers are barely even able to stand on their feet in this wind.
