OlympicsFan 776 Posted February 11, 2018 #341 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Apparently the day didn't start very good for Peiffer ... first his rifle broke, so he had to switch it and then he fell down the stairs or something and hurt his elbow ... Mark Kirchner apparently "predicted" the gold for Peiffer ... before the race he said that since Peiffer became world champion in 2011, everyone else (Schempp, Doll and Lesser) all won an individual gold, so it was time for Peiffer to again win something + he told Peiffer that when he (Kirchner) became world champion in 1991 he also had the BIB 22, like Peiffer today. Werloc 3,125 Posted February 11, 2018 #342 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Funnily enough, I actually predicted a bronze medal for Dominik Windisch. It's just that I predicted it to be the mass start Why did he have to go and betray me like that Nathy
OlympicsFan 776 Posted February 11, 2018 #343 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Haha Windisch asking the other guys if he is allowed to jump on the podium already. Always refreshing to see new athletes on the podium, the joy of winning your first olympic medal probably can't be compared to anything else in sport. Gigs 68 Posted February 11, 2018 #345 Share Posted February 11, 2018 It's enogh germany. You can stop overachieving now. I feel incredibly sorry for eberhard. Not only did he miss the bronze medal by 0.7 seconds he also had a broken stick in the 2nd lap. SalamAkhi and DaniSRB
