Exactly. I can't believe how hypocritical some people are - it's perfectly normal when Ledecky or Sjostrem win medal after medal, but not when Russians do so :d

Your assumption is that everything is on the same level beforehand, and it's not considering the reports from previous years. :p

It would've been perfectly legit assumption if politics hadn't been involved :d

Well it's not like it's just politics, I'm quite convinced Russian sports has a whole lot of dirty mess in it, maybe even more than the rest of the world :p

But still I think it's naive to think only Russian medals are possibly not clean.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

My prediction:

1. USA, 2. Russia 3. Great Britain

I'd agree until I saw Russia has had some pasta with magic today apparently, so I'm going for Russian gold :p

There were politicians involved on both sides, that's what I meant :d The whole Russian country is messy, you cannot expect of their sport to differ much.

Also - there're individuals that used forbidden substances (I don't care whether they were or were not helped by the institutions), they should be punished, of course, but not every Russian athlete deserved to be crucified by Western media.
