Dutch are pretty bad in the swim-off, aren't they? :p

You'd say the Dutch sports culture in general is used to it, with a ton of skate-offs for participating in the Winter Olympics and world champs :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

no final for Italy  and Canada :yikes:

200 free in Canada is not nearly as good as the 100, nobody expects anything close to a medal for this team, especially as its very young, 3 athletes born 1999 2000 and 2001 and then the veteran Savard 1993

The 4x200m was a slow race, mostly due to the fact only 10 teams raced and Italy and Denmark were already significantly behind by the third leg. Nobody was a sub-7:50. Though to be fair while Canada will cut down some time it won't be enough for a medal.
