She lacked speed and ground cover in some of the jumps, and also artistry (but not as much as Zagitova ofc). Dick Button with some interesting inside tweets btw. I'm genuinely surprised an 88-year old double gold medalist is live tweeting this. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! ahjfcshfghb 285 Posted February 23, 2018 #498 Share Posted February 23, 2018 Zagitova made me feel admiration, but little more. Medvedeva made me feel like I was part of her world. It was beautiful. Really think it should’ve gone the other way. hckošice, vinipereira, dareza and 1 other
Майкл 542 Posted February 23, 2018 #499 Share Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) Zagitova and Chen will rule the figure skating world due to their technical skills and athleticism. Medvedeva's artistry is not appreciated enough, she was better just better than Zagitova today. Scoring system is killing the artsy side of this sport.
