MHSN 3,213 Posted March 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2017 ITTF will change the ranking system completely ! the new system is something similar to Tennis. http://www.ittf.com/2017/03/27/new-world-ranking-scheme-effective-january-2018/ Quote The current system is based on results against opponents, gain points by winning, lose points when experiencing defeat; the new system is very different, the fundamental principle is the round reached in a tournament. Quasit 849 Posted June 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2017 Nice matches at the Japan Open once again. Ma Long. Stopped watching sports, there are better things in life.
Quasit 849 Posted June 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Unfortunately, Harimoto performs the art of "cho"-ing almost every point to the point it gets annoying. That doesn't really make him a fan favourite. Stopped watching sports, there are better things in life.
Quasit 849 Posted June 23, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2017 (edited) All male Chinese players pulled out from the singles competition at the China Open because their coach, Liu Guoliang, had to step down. I'm going to stop watching table tennis until the Chinese play again. The men's singles title can't be taken seriously. Quasit 849 Posted June 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 25, 2017 At least the women's matches were okay. Hopefully, the Australian Open will be better than this farce. Stopped watching sports, there are better things in life.
