phelps 6,769 Posted October 6, 2017 #44 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Guillermo Molina and Gonzalo Echenique are now officially Italian citizens... it took quite a few years for them to get there, but now they got it... and of course now they could well be named for our National Team (and it would be a great acquisition if they opt to play for us, especially Echenique is the kind of player we miss so much at the top level of play)... p.s. it's not sure that they will play for Italy...I'm pretty sure they've been asked to, but they haven't said anything about it yet... heywoodu 13,540 Posted November 30, 2017 #45 Share Posted November 30, 2017 Italian coach Mauro Maugeri has died, aged 58. He took over as coach of the Dutch women's team after they won Olympic gold in 2008 and well, that didn't exactly work out very good. https://www.wpdworld.com/news/morto-mauro-maugeri/ Gianlu33 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! There is not a Champions League in women's water polo The 1st tier competition for Women is LEN Euroleague, you can follow the results here http://www.microplustiming.com/leneuroleaguewomen/indexCL_web.php?cal=1 27 minutes ago, Bartek said: Why do only 4 Teams play in World League Euro Qualification? Probably only 4 teams wanted to participate The World league is open to all teams, and there participated more teams in previous World League editions, so it is the only explanation I think My favourite Volleyball position: LIBERO.
