So silver in K4-500, that´s bit of surprise, since they aren´t any extra specialist in 500m at all. but good to see that the guys are able to fight for medals also in this newly "stupidly" build Olympic discipline.

After yesterdays surprising silver in K4-500 the guys finished 3rd today in the now "non-olympic" K4-1000m. They did everything well during the whole race and attacked the gold again but in the last meters lost to ESP and BLR. Especially what a finish by Spain :bowdown: this was just wow..

 

Also Great champs for :CZE so far :yes

Junior and u23 WC started few days ago. Course in Romania is joke. Lane 8 and 9 are much more privileged. So we have world champion in k1 u23 from lane 9 from Argnetina, and in c2 1000 from China. Also silver medal for Mexico in c2 1000 from lane 8. In every race lane 8 or 9 or both finished as first or second.

Today Iran won its first ever medal in a ICF World Championship :yes , Mohammad Nabi Rezaei won bronze in C1 1000m juniors.

 

Always nice to win world medal in a new sport.
