These should in theory be Canada's best ever Swimming championships (either junior or senior).

I am not 100% sure that this is true, at least if you judge by the number of medals only? Canada will probably medal in womens 100 free, womens 200 free, womens 100 fly, womens 200 back, all relays and maybe womens 50 free. Any more medal chances for Canada in olympic events? Concerning overall medals this could be the same of maybe worse than Rio, but Canada should win more gold, i guess 3-4 in total.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

0 Dutch swimmers, fantastic :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

We probably would've finished 2nd in the 4x200 had China sent their best athletes, but its still a fantastic result for us. Sadly some big names are missing at this competition (Kolesnikov, Horomura, Atherton, McKeown, Chinese, Ruck not swimming 200 back, Oleksiak not swimming any individual events)

Also finally a good up and coming male swimmer for us, Gabe Mastromatteo 9th in 1:01.64 in Men's 100m Breast having just turned 15 yrs old recently. We also have Mehdi Ayoubi who recently swam a 22.35 50m free (which would've been 2nd seed at World Juniors) but he isn't here for whatever reason sadly
