rybak 2,672 Posted March 19, 2017 Author #31 Share Posted March 19, 2017 For the first time ever(?) tournament in Miami will not see current number #1 in both men's and women's singles event, also Djokovic, Tsonga, Monfils and Bacsinszky will not play there. heywoodu 13,504 Posted March 29, 2017 #34 Share Posted March 29, 2017 (edited) 19-year old Alexander Zverev beat Wawrinka (again!) and is in his first Masters/Grand Slam QF's Still a teenager and this is already his 5th win against a top-10 player in much less than one year! That's amazing. That's amazing. Maybe finally someone born in the 90s can win a big title... Zverev, Kyrgios, Sock, Nishikori, it's on a silver plate this Masters. No Djokovic or Murray, Fed at 36 in back-to-back tournaments and the conditions in Miami haven't suited him for a decade, Stan out and Nadal who has never won this Masters in his illustrious career. What more would they need. Watch now how it is another Fedal final (not that i would complain)

Wanderer 1,597 Posted March 30, 2017 #37 Share Posted March 30, 2017 I would like to see either Zverev or Kyrgios. But Fognini winning it would be epic
Wanderer 1,597 Posted March 30, 2017 #38 Share Posted March 30, 2017 Amd what a meltdown for Pliskova... dark days for WTA. Venus and Miki Lucic inspiring stories though ans continued rise of Konta. Have to add, youngsters are knocking too. Vondrousova, Aiava progressing fast on ITF, fantastic results for Potapova and Anisimova in Curitiba...
