To be fair, when you got Charandy Martina, the Netherlands had to take the rest of the country too :d

That was a good trade :d (although I would still have preferred the Netherlands Antilles to still be an entity on it's own, including Olympic participation, small countries for the win :p )

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

IAAF ratified the Pentathlon U20 WR of Alina Shukh.

They didn't ratify her result from Zaporizhzhya (4550) :( because the venue is not certified. They took her Tallinn result instead (4542).

On a good note - starting from 2019 all UAF competitions will be hosted by certified arenas/venues/routes only.

Oh well, those 8 points aren't gonna make a difference :p

Well, the Lithuanian hype train continues as Edis Matusevičius, born 1996, threw the javelin at 84.78, broke the national Lithuanian record, qualified for the World Championships and is also one of the primary contenders for a medal this year in U23 championships.

That's a solid worldwide top-40 for women's youth...not bad considering most others in the youth category are 3-4 years older :d

and today 54.17  but im not sure if it was 400 or 500g. I only know that this is u14 world record.
