Africa nations qualified for  Fifa U-20 World Cup 2017:  :ZAM:RSA:SEN and :GUI  

 

Now the list for KOREA 2017 is completed, the official draw for the U-20 World Cup will take place on 15 March.

 

Will be the 21st edition of Fifa youth tournament; many big will be absent: Brazil (5 time champions), previous winner Ghana and Spain,  Nigeria (2 times runner up) and the title holder Serbia (they became the fifth consecutive title holder to fail to qualify for the subsequent tournament).

 

However, there are Argentina (6 title), France, Portugal, Germany and ..... Italy (came back after 8 years ); will be an interesting tournament for know the rising stars and future football champions.

Bye Bye Europa League :bye: for :ITA  (as always........ in last years :wacko: )

Nothing to do, Roma lost this round in first leg (2nd half ), today won but wasn't enough .....

 

 

Today at Nyon, the draw for Quarter-Finals at 12:00 CET (Champions League) and at 13:00 CET (Europa League)

FIFA has suspended the Malian Football Federation (FEMAFOOT) for Government interference after the country's Sports Minister dissolved the organisation's entire Executive Committee.

The decision was taken by the Bureau of the FIFA Council and their suspension will begin with immediate effect.

Last week, Mali's Sports Minister Housseini Amion Guindo sacked the Executive Committee and installed a an Interim Committee to run the FEMAFOOT until a new group can be put in place.

as expected Marek Hamšík became the player of the year in Slovakia, it´s his 6th careers title and 3rd in a row (2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015 and now 2016)
