UCI reduces Grand Tour teams to 8 riders for 2018

from 9 to 8

Without increasing the number of teams, even though there now would be space for two more teams. This decision will change exactly nothing.

Zdeněk Štybar won the title after a huge attack in the last climb  second finished Josef Černý winning his second medal this week after the time trial one last Thursday. 3rd finished Juraj Sagan and became once again Slovak National champion. Czech bronze went to Petr Vakoč beating Roman Kreuziger in the sprint. Slovak silver is for Peter Sagan winning the main group sprint ahead of Slovak bronze medalist Erik Baška.
