Winter Olympic Games 2018 Debuting, Coming Back, Returning and Missing Nations

Recommended Posts

Maybe some of you already known about this but the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in August 2017 will also feature 3 winter sports.

A good event to monitor some athletes :d

And a bit of correction, Indonesia is sending short track speed skaters instead of speed skaters (the media was unable to differentiate short-track with normal speed skating)

:ISV have good chance in women's skeleton

But they already competed in Sochi, so they wouldn't count as "debuting" or "returning" :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

The Ghanian skeleton rider was a few seconds back of his closest competitor in his first race, so it seems highly unlikely he qualifies (unless there is a drastic improvement).

This week he already improved a little bit compared to his first races earlier in the month, but yeah...not very likely :p

Doesn't matter though, since the very first beginning he has clearly said 2022 is his goal :)
