In Russia now, very often, children since childhood have been learning English, both in schools and from private teachers

Cool :)

Popov wasn't speaking English, but alright, I'm always pleased to see athletes from non-English speaking countries give a pretty easy interview without needing a translator, it makes certain aspects of life a lot easier for them :p

At one time it was a big problem when athletes (especially football or hockey players) left for other countries and couldn't say anything. Because of what broke career and returned home. And now, before leaving for the USA or Canada, our young hockey players speak English well. Also when there is facebook and instagram communication of athletes who have participated in competitions since childhood, has reached a new level.

Feeling blessed as Indonesian CdM live streamed the weightlifting and one of Indonesian embassy staff live streamed badminton from their respective IG

Also Slavics have a pretty decent groundwork for a good English accent.

There is still Lettner. If she's going to win lead as she did in qualifications then she'll take a gold. Don't know who will win but I think that medals are for 2x :AUT and 1x :SLO

I think Lukan is going to win the women’s combined, unless Lammer uses some magic in the lead. However, there is still a path to victory for all the climbers so...

don't underestimate the Japanese girl...

however, I also think Lukan is the main favourite (with Lettner having also an outside chance, the lead section should be an affair between those 2...but still...climbing is always a "risky" sport)...

:POL vs :AUS 0:8 :wall::facepalm:

Why we even sent this team? And more important question: why broadcasting from hockey started today? Loss with Argentina, disgrace with Australia...
