Iran scored the first goal late in the second half then the ref gave a very dubious penalty (they never showed the replay) to Russia made it 1-1 and when both teams were OK with a draw (which could take everything to the last day) Russia all of a sudden scored from a corner in 40th minute, few seconds later Iran missed an empty goal. with this Brazil and Russia are in semifinal and Iran is eliminated with futsal being OUT. now this is almost a sure thing that we are not going to win any medal outside of our favorite sport. Askaridoun also finished 4th in weightlifting only 1kg behind the Saudi guy. but well he wasn't a medal chance. and Nosrati won our second gold medal in wrestling as expected. at least something to cheer about Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
