heywoodu 13,540 Posted August 31, 2017 #151 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Maybe South Koreans are a little like Americans, buying their tickets on the day before or the day of the event instead of months in advance Oh well, I doubt the Koreans will give two fucks about cross-country skiing so I'm still hopeful I might be able to get tickets for that in January when I know whether or not I want to go to the Olympics. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! dcro 10,179 Posted August 31, 2017 #153 Share Posted August 31, 2017 (edited) It's very similar to Daegu 2011. For some reason Koreans like to organize the events that don't interest their people. Sounds like if I'm going (which would mean my best friend is participating) I'm going to have to bring some Brazilian flags to make it all look a bit more exotic Maybe bring some air horns and stuff and hand them out to people around me Edited August 31, 2017 by heywoodu If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! If we meet, definitely at the Women's 10km. I'll try getting a Brazilian flag... heywoodu
intoronto 4,202 Posted August 31, 2017 #156 Share Posted August 31, 2017 South Koreans do everything last minute. So give it time. Also Toronto 2015 had sold similar amount of tickets at 5 months to go but it was the best attended Pan Am Games ever. Give it time, and it will work. dcro 10,179 Posted August 31, 2017 #157 Share Posted August 31, 2017 I wonder what was the ticket sale percentage 5 months before Rio? If I remember well, there were also assurances that Brazilians will buy more tickets later, but we ended up with a lot of empty stadiums. #banbestmen

If she doesn't qualify, I'll definitely stay home ahjfcshfghb 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! hckošice 13,217 Posted August 31, 2017 #159 Share Posted August 31, 2017 well, it´s hard to buy for example a hockey ticket, when fans still don´t know when their team will play..as there absolutely not a single mention ANYWHERE when they are supposed to FINALLY create this tournament schedule...
