If by 'normal' you mean it's something that's no big deal, than no, it's not normal that this is apparently necessary. heywoodu 13,540 Posted December 30, 2017 Author #1686 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Don't know why anyone would want to go there anyway by the way I've been to the Berlin New Year's Eve once and it was one hell of half the world population (or so it felt) in a small area, and the walk back to the train station (and from the train station to our hotel) was mostly filled with loud, annoying drunk people and people sitting in their own vomit.
