An army of orcs, trolls, Nazgûl and other foul beasts at our borders? Sounds like something to lose :d

Now that's no way to talk about the Belgians :d

How on earth could Wayde van Niekerk and Fijian rugby team be nominated for the breakthrough of the year?

And how on earth can one of the biggest names in current sports win "breakthrough of the year" after already being a consistent race winner and finishing 2nd in the world championship standings in the two previous years?

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Well, unlike Fiji rugby team and Wayde van Niekerk, he went from being second to first. Small as it is, it's still a breakthrough. :p

Looking at those names, it's mostly a prize for "Best athlete or team who didn't quite make the cut in the list for the real prize"
