I remember the one of 1999 (when I was 8), the last 100% eclipse that was visible here. Our neighbours and us were in our garden, watching with our special sunglasses and CD-ROM's and everything, beautiful :)

I actually remember it too, despite being 4 years old at the time. :d I remember that everyone gathered and watched the total darkness in the middle of the day. :d

CNN's reporter in some place in Missouri is standing in the rain with no chance it clears up in 15 minutes, but luckily she's joined by some old Australian dude who travelled all the way there for the eclipse yet doesn't give two fucks about not being able to see the sun ("because it's something special anyway"). +1 for that guy

Why travel to Missouri anyway, lol? Not like it's the only state with the eclipse. :p

Just right now when talking about it with my parents I realized apparently my memory wasn't that great and it was maybe not entirely 100% here :d

Strange thing is that you and Federer (in Bulgaria) both said it got dark there, whereas my dad just said he didn't notice much more than just a small eclipse and small change in light :p (he was in Kosovo at that time)
