Is there any reallocation still possible?

I don't know; our forum mate dcro said it isn't possible. We will see; anyway, our NOC was really stupid when they gave up the quota place before this doping matter was settled one way or the other

52nd qualified slovak athlete

Slovakia received a official invitation in C1-1000m. the quota was rejected by Moldova, and ICF asked Slovakia, ofc our federation immediately responded positively :d

the quota will be used by either Matej Rusnák or Vincent Farkaš. tomorrow is scheduled the qualifying race between them at 10:00 am our time.

Looks like Moldova decided to send the same athlete in C1 and C2, and that's why Slovakia received this one. So technically they didn't reject it. C1 is the best medal chance for Moldova in Rio.

Anyway, this invitation most definitely means that Romania won't get its quota back.

most likely you are right. as usual :yes. the article said "vrátenú miestenku" which means returned quota.
