France is the 5th country after Uruguay in 1930, Italy in 1938, England in 1966 and Brazil in 1970 to score 4 goals in the FIFA WC final, there only one country that scored more, Brazil 5 goals in 1958

 

That 5-2 BRA-SWE final in 1958 is the final with the more goals scored 7

For the Netherlands the bigger reason is a goal by Bas Dost being cancelled for absolutely no reason against Sweden :p (apart from the team just being utterly shit :d )

 

Sort of how Ireland was eliminated by that 100% hands goal from Henry.
